yesterday, i was at Siam Paragon (one of the biggest malls in Bangkok) and went to this record store (where i previously purchased my imported dual disc TBA cd and the same & only shop that sells cyndi lauper albums in bangkok) and to my shock, i saw what i thought would never, ever gonna appear in thailand---a one & imported cd of BYTTB! yes, after a year and 2 months of loooooooooooooong wait, this cd has finally landed in the South East Asian soil! It costs Thai Baht 499 (US$ 15)...

BYTTB: First Year Anniversary

Today May 27 marks the first year since "Bring Ya To The Brink" was released in USA. Just happy to see that Cyndi made a great comeback with two #1 dance singles.

On the other hand, it's also been a year now since this marvelous album never made a release in a lot of countries including here in Thailand and Philippines. One year...and some fans (and possibly new audience) are still HOPING for a release in these countries...

Hearing ECHO

I keep hearing ECHO...

when I'm out at night, and on Energy 92 FM they play it constantly.

Oh yeah, and the other day a girls phone rang in the middle of my Anatomy class and Echo was her ring tone.

Anybody else hearing Echo on the radio or in odd places???

Japan releases

Ok...since the latest CD releases are related to BYTTB, I'm posting this under, well, the BYTTB section...

Just got my import CDs in the mail yesterday - the GJWTSYH/Smash-up version...and Floor Remixes....I have to say, I really like them!
For me, I hope Cyn continues to release additional remixed versions on CD...a variety in life is good to have...

Any thoughts on the overall product?

According to Wiki, the worldwide sales is so far 100,000+, US 35,000+ and Japan 31,000+

Check the link here. Let's hope that the "Floor Remixes" and the nomination at Grammy will boost the sales some more...and eventually if it wins, chances are the album will be FINALLY released in other countries like here in Thailand, Philippines and even in UAE where my friend found ONE & ONLY...

Dance radio station Energy 92.7FM in San Francisco announced that "Echo" will be the third single, the release dates are unknown.

I hear lots of mixes ... Are they DJ only, and not for purchase?
